Heineken UK wanted to replace the existing BW 7.3 which is connected to multiple source systems. Some of their systems were old SAP system. They also had to follow the technology suites that are provided global team. Inhouse had a very good experience BW 7.3 but they want someone to show case the new technologies which where recommended by global team.

Challenges:
The challenge Princes faced is, they had an existing planning tool which had lots of gap to meet the business requirements. Hence the business solution did not help the best utilization of the data and decision making.
Solution:
As mentioned in the previous section, Princes already had an existing SAP planning implementation. Luksha went and enhanced the user experience by implementing changes into the SAP planning system, which helped the user in speeding up the process of interacting with reports. This way Princes were able to close the gaps and were able to best utilize the solution.

The goal is to deliver sector-leading support across the Group and its Divisions in Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Promotions Management, Reporting, Logistics, Human Resources, Procurement, Information Systems, Customer Services, Group Finance and Corporate Communications. By delivering consistent, agile and competitive solutions SHS aim to be the partner of choice in meeting the demands both business and the constantly evolving FMCG sector.
The users were only able to download the reports in excel and see the row data. But they were not able to visualize data on their own. With respect to SAP BOBJ reports there is too much of cost shelled out for licenses. So SHS want to reduce this cost which means they want to be more cost effective in terms of licensing. Also, SHS wants employees to work on reports and dashboards on their own at least to a certain extend so that they don’t go to the development for small requirements. In a way they were lacking a self-service tool.
Solution:
The solution Luksha proposed in overcoming the above challenges was to implement SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud). Luksha’s professionals with the specialist knowledge and expertise to lead, develop and implement solutions. Created reports as in stories and Luksha’s expertise is equipped in creating reports using Analytics designer to meet the customer needs accurately. The reason to use Analytic designer was to improve the performance and include more customizations according to the need.
